The printer is not responding.

There is a problem with the shared printer "^5". Check the messages on the Macintosh directly connected to the printer.

The printer is not responding. Make sure the printer's power cable is plugged in.  Also make sure the printer is connected to the printer port or use the Chooser to select the modem port.
